Tanks
Drinking water tanks are a key element in the water supply chain. In densely populated areas is imperative to have one or more tanks to control the water supply, being the connecting link between treatment stations and supply network.
The type and quality of materials in contact with stored potable water inside the tank is very important to avoid disruption or pollution of the supplied water. Sooner or later, all water tanks have problems in the interfaces with water during their service life.
Thus, they must be repaired to avoid pollution or quality decrease of stored water. Other elements in the tanks (roofs, decks, external walls…) suffer also structural and impermeability problems, due to different external agents.
